Chakra and the system come from the East,
where it`s known in the most religion and philosophy systems or spiritual disciplines.
The knowhow of the chakra is also basis for a lot of healing-techniques.
The word chakra (and the name of each chakra) comes from sanskrit,
and means spinning wheel or disc, spiral or whirl,
and it is the symbolize of the energy point in the body who is the meetingpoint for
physical, mental and spiritual energy.
There are seven main-chackra who is placed along the spine up to the head.
If you do healing with your hands is it important to know about those chackra you have
in the middle of your palm, and for grounding it could be usefull to know about the chakra point
we have under our feet.
The chackra is energy point, but each point, when it`s "alive" and pulsing have influence
over a quite big area in the body.

Mooladhara (from Sanskrit) is :
The Red chakra is lockated the lowest of the spin.
This chakra represents the feeling of being "whole" and comfortable with sitations.
Open: Well balanced, stable and safe.
Under-active: Anxious and nervous.
Over-active: Materialistic, greedy, and absorbed of safety and security.

Swadhistana (from Sanskrit) is:
The Orange chakra who is located behind the pubic bone, in the spine.
This chakra represents feelings og sexuality.
Open: Stable temper, intimate and lively. No problem with sexuality.
Under-active: Rigid, introvert, insensitive or "pokerface".
Over-active: Emotional unstable, "attack" other.

Manipura (from Sanskrit) is:
The Yellow chakra who is located behind the navel, in the spine.
This chakra represents a persons lock at them selfs in relation to other.
Open: God control and self-esteem.
Under-active: Passive, irresolute, anxious and can`t get anything done.
Over-active: dominating,and could be aggressiv.

Anahatha (fom Sanskrit) is:
The Green chakra who is located behind the hearth, in the spine.
This chakra represents love, consideration and devotion.
Open: Friendly, compassionate and work for harmonious relationship.
Under-active: Cold and distant.
Over-active: Overwhelming care, possible from egoistic reason.

Vishuddhi (from Sanskrit) is:
The Blue chakra who is located in the neck.
This chakra represents the skill to speak well and clear.
Open: Skill to give good meanings, and to express thoughts to word.
Under-active: Quiet, introverted og shy.
Untruth can block this chakra.
Over-active: Talk much, usually to dominate other and
keep distance, could be a bad listner.

Ajna (from Sanskrit) is:
The indigo chakra chakra who is located in the head between the eyebrow.
This chakra (3.eye) represents insight and visualisation.
Open: Good intuition, imagination and creativity.
Under-active: Insecurity, dependent weak, rigid in thoughts and easy to be confused.
Over-active: Fantasize, leack of grounding, in extreme case can
hallucinations come up.

Sahasrara (from Sanskrit) is:
The violet chakra who is located over the crown.
This chakra represents wisdom and belonging in the world .
Open: Unprejudiced and aware over own and others value.
Under-active: Rigid in thoughts and without spiritual (god, buddah, mother earth, univers..)
connection.
Over-active: Extreme ocupied of the spiritual, ignore the need of the body.
