The Angels purpose is to serve God and do his order.
They deliver messages between God and the human being.
The word angel came from the greek word angelos that means harbinger.
The tradition tell`s about seven types of angels. Some of them are standing
by the throne of God, singing and praiseing. Other work as guardian angels and
protect the paradise or are looking after the starts and planets.
The angels do almost the same thing in judaism, christianity and islam.
In these three religions is the angels put into a strict hierarchy:
The archangels is the bosses and stand over all the other angels, and show
themself when there are big buissiness coming up.
If there has to be a fight will Mikael be the leader, while Gabriel have much
more peacefull purposes. He is the angel of grace and the announcement.

In islam they have four archangels: Mikal, Jibril (Gabriel), Izrail og Izrafil.
In jewish tradition is there seven archangels: Mikael, Gabriel, Rafael, Uriel,

Beside the archangels is the seraphs and cherubim the most known in the host of angels.
Both groups are of those who is closest to God. The seraphs have the fire element
with them, and their name means
some thing like "those who burn" and are the honour guardians
with the throne of God. They have six wings.
The cherubim most importent responsibility is to bear Gods throne,
They are a mix of human and animal, with four
wings and four head - human, lion, bull and eagle.
In pursuant to the tradition was Lucifer one of the angels closest to God.
His name means lightbringer and he was the morningstar.
He was`nt satisfied to be an angel - he want to be God.

throu Lucifer and the bad angels down in
